Job description

We're hiring! Malbon is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to our VP of Sales, this person will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our wholesale sales team by ensuring seasonal product information, sales tools, and operational processes are executed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while keeping multiple projects moving simultaneously.

Location: Malbon HQ is based in Santa Monica, CA. We are currently operating from a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in-office. This role is not eligible for remote or relocation. 

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, Operations, and Finance to align inventory availability with shipping timelines 
  • Track seasonal order flow and assist with the preparation of sell-in and sell-through reports 
  • Manage sales agency information is accurate for seasonal access to NuOrder and the Google Sales Drive
  • Create and maintain seasonal line sheets in NuOrder, product information decks and seasonal sell-in tools for sales reps and buyers
  • Assist in the account creation in NetSuite as needed from the Sales Operations and Finance teams
  • Build out seasonal assets in NuOrder and the Google Sales Drive
  • Partner with the Sales, Merch and Production teams to ensure accurate information is entered at the SKU level 
  • Serve as the point of contact to both Sales and Production for seasonal samples
  • Maintain SMS ordering tools with Production while confirming arrivals, and coordinating shipping to sales agencies and distributors
  • Build and maintain a sample tracker for each agency
  • Assist the team in planning and coordinating trade shows, showrooms, and market appointment
  • Support Sales team with post-show follow-ups and recaps
  • Additional support to all internal teams as needed
What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years' experience in a wholesale, sales support, or customer service role within the apparel, footwear, or lifestyle category
  • Proficiency in order management systems (NetSuite, NuORDER or similar ERP/B2B platforms), and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data and communication
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Potential market and event travel (trunk & regional rep shows, etc)
  • Interest in golf, fashion, or the Malbon brand is a strong plus 
Physical Demands

This role regularly requires handling, packing, shipping, and receiving seasonal samples, marketing materials, and other sales supplies. Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25-30 pounds on an occasional basis.

Compensation

This is a full-time position with an expected salary range of $70-$75K. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
