ABOUT VEEFRIENDS

ABOUT THE ROLE
VeeFriends is seeking a high-energy, knowledgeable freelance Coin Live Host (1099 contractor) to present, educate, and sell coins, currency, and precious metals across live shopping platforms.
This role blends numismatic expertise, live entertainment, and real-time selling, requiring someone who can build trust with collectors while driving engagement and conversions during live broadcasts.
As part of VeeFriends' growing collectibles ecosystem, this host will play a key role in bringing both traditional and innovative coin products to life for a rapidly expanding audience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Live Selling & Hosting
  • Host high-energy, on-camera live shopping streams showcasing coins, bullion, and collectible products
  • Clearly present items, communicate value, and drive real-time purchasing decisions
  • Maintain strong viewer engagement, momentum, and retention throughout multi-hour broadcasts

Education & Trust-Building
  • Explain coin grading, rarity, condition, and historical significance in a clear and engaging way
  • Answer live questions and build credibility with both new and experienced collectors
  • Ensure transparency and accuracy in all product descriptions

Live Commerce & Growth
  • Apply live shopping best practices to improve conversion, engagement, and repeat viewership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Live Commerce team to understand performance metrics and optimize shows
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve platform analytics, content strategy, and overall channel growth

Community & Brand Building
  • Actively build and engage a loyal collector community around VeeFriends
  • Bring personality, storytelling, and consistency to develop a recognizable on-screen presence
  • Support content creation beyond live shows, including social media and promotional content

Product & Strategy Input
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product performance, audience preferences, and market trends
    Collaborate with product and broader teams to inform future coin offerings and collectibles strategy
  • Stay current on market pricing, trends, and collector demand

WHO YOU ARE
On-Camera Talent
  • Confident, engaging, and high-energy personality with strong live presentation skills
  • Comfortable improvising, managing chat interaction, and maintaining momentum during extended streams

Live Commerce Experience
  • Experience with live selling, auctions, or content-driven commerce strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of audience engagement, urgency, and conversion in a live format

Numismatic Knowledge
  • Background in coins, bullion, or collectibles (professional or personal)
  • Understanding of grading systems and major grading companies (e.g., PCGS, NGC)
  • Ability to identify key details such as strike quality, surface marks, and authenticity

Adaptability & Growth Mindset
  • Ability to quickly learn and represent the VeeFriends brand, products, and storytelling
  • Excited to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and grow with the team

TERMS & COMPENSATION

The pay range for this role is:
