Job description

Trillium Flow Technologies, founded on a legacy of premier products and services, provides mission-critical valves, pumps, and aftermarket services for core societal infrastructure that includes water and wastewater, power generation including nuclear power, food and beverage, oil and gas equipment and general industry. Trillium is very customer centric to meet specific needs, provides innovative engineering design with a global footprint that is focused on meeting our customers' original equipment and aftermarket needs.
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships within the nuclear industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, supporting customer needs, and representing Trillium Valves USA at industry events. The position requires strong technical knowledge of valve systems and nuclear standards, and a proactive approach to sales strategy and customer engagement. While the role is based out of Ipswich, MA it is a fully remote role open to applicants across the United States.
Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and plant contacts.
-Identify, pursue, and prospect new business opportunities across existing and new accounts.
-Conduct in-person and virtual customer meetings, including strategic planning and follow-up.
-Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasting.
-Prepare and maintain accurate regional sales forecasts and strategic call plans.
-Represent Trillium Valves USA at trade shows, supplier symposiums, and industry events.
-Collaborate with internal teams (inside sales, service, spare parts) to support customer needs and profitability.
-Assist in contract negotiations and service agreements to maximize margins.
-Demonstrate working knowledge of nuclear industry standards (e.g., NQA-1, ASME, Appendix B).
-Build brand awareness through professional social media presence and client engagement activities.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial or nuclear markets.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving business growth.
-Prior experience with Valves (sales, design, repair, or support)
Certifications:
- Nuclear industry certifications (e.g., NQA-1 familiarity) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with Commercial Grade Dedication and nuclear quality assurance programs.
-Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
-Strong understanding of valve repair plans and service offerings.
-Clear understanding of nuclear valves sales cycle
Skills and Competencies
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
-Technical aptitude in valve systems and industry and nuclear standards.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with generative AI tools.
Physical Requirements
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment.
The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
