Description

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an ORT Manager to lead the Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) Department and oversee all reliability testing operations supporting production, engineering validation, and New Product Introduction (NPI). Once a part of the team, you will provide strategic leadership for ORT operations, develop departmental capabilities, and have the opportunity to display leadership and critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The ORT Manager will oversee ORT operations, lead departmental personnel, ensure reliability testing excellence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while supporting cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the ORT Department, including Supervisors, Leads, and ORT Technicians
  • Establish departmental goals, KPIs, staffing plans, and operational priorities to support production and engineering schedules
  • Oversee all ORT rack testing stations, environmental chambers, and supporting reliability testing equipment
  • Ensure reliability testing is performed according to engineering specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards
  • Develop staffing plans, training programs, and career development opportunities for ORT personnel
  • Collaborate with Test, Reliability, Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, and NPI Engineering teams to support production and product validation
  • Oversee environmental chamber capacity planning, utilization, scheduling, and equipment availability
  • Manage preventive maintenance, calibration schedules, equipment upgrades, and vendor support for ORT equipment
  • Lead investigations into equipment failures, chamber alarms, and reliability test issues while driving corrective and preventive actions
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering qualification builds, and customer validation activities
  • Analyze departmental KPIs including equipment uptime, chamber utilization, throughput, reliability testing cycle times, and operational efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase testing efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve laboratory utilization
  • Develop and maintain departmental procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and testing documentation
  • Manage departmental budgets, equipment purchases, and capital improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with ESD, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company quality standards
  • Present departmental performance, project updates, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership
  • Build strong working relationships with equipment vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, reliability testing, server manufacturing, test engineering, ORT operations, or related technical environments
  • 3+ years of management experience leading technical or manufacturing teams
  • Experience managing environmental chambers, automated test systems, or large-scale reliability laboratories preferred
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, electronics troubleshooting, Linux, networking fundamentals, and reliability testing methodologies
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering validation activities
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment lifecycle management, and laboratory operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems
  • Experience using data and KPIs to drive operational improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting multiple priorities
