We are looking for a manager to come run our Data Center Environment Implementation. You would be responsible for the below functions

It will be a combined role with the scope below-

1. Implementation Manager - DCE Implementation

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines and milestones
  • Create and manage ordering schedules for equipment and materials
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure smooth delivery and installation
  • Oversee hardware evaluation schedules and associated activities
  • Identify and manage provisioning dependencies
  • Oversee exit related activities and transitions
  • Oversee the implementation of projects and systems
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage tickets and resolve issue efficiently
  • Conduct activity-based colocation billing reviews to ensure accuracy

2. Implementation Manager - RO Implementation

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines and milestones
  • Manage the power requirements and ensure alignment with project needs
  • Coordinate and oversee connectivity setups and requirements
  • Create and manage ordering schedules for equipment and materials
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure smooth delivery and installation
  • Oversee hardware evaluation schedules and associated activities
  • Identify and manage provisioning dependencies
  • Oversee exit related activities and transitions
  • Oversee the implementation of projects and systems
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Conduct activity-based project billing reviews to ensure accuracy

3. Demonstrated Experience in the following

  • Experience with server hardware NPI (New Product Integration)
  • Experience with server and component vendor supply chain
  • Demonstrated understanding of datacenter technologies such as networking, servers, GPUs, storage, virtualized infrastructure, power, and cooling
  • Provide status reports to stakeholders, identify risks to the project and communicate them early. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to mitigate risks.
  • Experience clearly communicating complex requirements such as schedules, orders/shipment tracking, and system configurations across multiple teams in a clear and concise way
  • Work closely with sourcing and supplier management teams to ensure contracts, orders, and parts are available and on track to be received in time.
  • Working with customers and capacity planning teams to help track current utilization vs anticipated demand

Annual Salary

$140,000.00 - $300,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
