What awaits you:
• Responsible for all aspects of Industrialization and Advanced Manufacturing within the customer business unit in the area of New Product Introduction.
• Define, align and standardize all customer related advanced manufacturing systems in the customer BU including the responsibility for the BU industrialization and production concept from quote to EOP.
• Lead the local Industrialization managers and manufacturing areas (regions) to provide the necessary resources and expertise in order to fulfill FLP tasks during quotation phases.
• Lead quote, MSD, capacity, capex and launch activities in BU.
• Coordinate different quotation program interfaces in the BU with NPI.
• Ensure knowledge about and compliance with Customer Specific Requirements throughout the NPI (including manufacturing systems team) and if necessary, define training measures.
• Manages the global capacity file, ensuring appropriate balance of programs within the BU ensuring alignment with the other BUs.
• Manages the global capex file and ensures alignment with the BU through the SBR and AOP process.
• Ensure availability and effectiveness of FLP documentation during quotation phase and is responsible to fulfil the quality management system to comply to automotive standards and customer requirements especially according to IATF 16949.
• Utilize for the re-use equipment list for quoting new products for the reduction of capital.
What you'll need to succeed:
• University Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or comparable
• Min 5 years of experience in manufacturing/manufacturing engineering
• Strong Knowledge in Program Management and Launch activities
• Min 5 years experience in international programs
• Good Knowledge of Production concepts and production processes, good understanding of Kautex Standards, basic financial understanding
• Knowledge of Six Sigma Tools are needed
• English language skills are needed
