The Nurse Practitioner (NP) includes a range of responsibilities and duties that are essential for providing comprehensive care to patients across various stages of life. NPs are responsible for performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications under state-regulated authority. They also have the ability to perform some procedures under the supervision of a physician.
