Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Are you a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, searching for your next perm position? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Anchorage, Alaska might just be the opportunity for you!

Opportunity Highlights

  • Psych hospital setting (but looking for primary care NP)
  • 7on/7off block schedule
  • Full-time
  • 10-hour shift
  • Initial medical admissions evaluations & H&Ps, follow ups, diagnostics and discharges for ages 5+. Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health
  • Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health. Provide medical consultations and recommend diagnostic tests and treatments as needed
  • Anchorage, Alaska location
