A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Intern is a graduate nursing student who is in training to become a certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). During their internship, they work under the supervision of licensed professionals to gain hands-on experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders.
