These professionals use telehealth technology to connect with patients remotely, offering services such as therapy, medication management, and mental health education. Virtual care allows patients to access psychiatric support from the comfort of their own homes, improving convenience and accessibility, especially for those in underserved or rural areas. Virtual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners follow the same standards of care as in-person providers and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
