The General Administration Clerk performs a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department.

ResponsibilitiesPrimary Accountabilities:
  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Enter data and maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • Alphabetic and numerical filing and file creation to include review and completion of new hire files. 
  • Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsExperience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:
  • Must be able to communicate in English & Spanish (read & write). Punjabi is a plus.
  • Must have Microsoft Office application experience, with intermediate to advance Excel experience
  • Working knowledge of time and attendance software (NovaTime) and related paperwork, such as data entry for exception reports, labor codes, and absentee reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently.
