Job Description SummaryThe Northstar (NSA) Senior Finance Manager 1 - FP&A Management role is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Northstar P&L and Cash. Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services, working capital metrics and tactical insights for cash decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Avio Aero FP&A team to establish Northstar FP&A infrastructure
  • Responsible for the analysis and the financial KPIs that will drive growth and profit for the business.
  • Lead the long-term planning process for the Income statement and Cash (LRF, Budget) as well as the short-term forecasts (quarterly estimates and forecast), developing a deep understanding of the Northstar business dynamics.
  • Lead the QMI process over the quarter with the CEO, CFO and the Avio Leadership team, supporting the Quarterly Pacing process with Avio.
  • Supervises the monthly and quarterly FP&A closing process with daily pacing, analysis and estimate
  • Provide financial planning, analysis and reporting for NSA income and cash, assessing the amount, timing, and predictability of cash-inflows and outflows, for the purpose of establishing the overall (net) change in cash-flow for a dined period
  • Deeply understanding of the Working capital dynamics (Account receivables, Inventory, Account payable, Contract Assets and Progress collections) and Other operating line items
  • Ensure timely & accurate reconciliation of the Direct vs Indirect Free Cash Flow (FCF)
  • Impacts the finance team's ability to achieve quality and timeliness of the different objectives. Responsible for ad hoc analysis as may be required by the CEO or CFO of the business, or the Avio FP&A leader, assuming a supportive role in decision making about important subjects.
  • Prepares the Profit Walks (Q/Q, Y/Y, Sequential and Forecast) for the business for the quarterly reviews with GE Aerospace.
  • Collaborate with the Avio Aero team to provide high level standard of analysis and deliverable for Avio Aero.
  • Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations, to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function
  • May lead functional teams of projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Partner with Avio Aero FP&A and DT to ensure data are available and submitted in Avio Aero datalake
  • Simplify Northstar processes partnering with controllership by leveraging FLIGHT DECK

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or business administration from an accredited university or college
  • Experience in Accounting, Controllership and FP&A Operations, with Income and Cash Flow understanding
  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • CAS/FAR experience

The base pay range for this position is $161,000.00 - 215,000.00 Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on 6/18/26.
