Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to oversee our operations in the Northeast region. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, meet target goals and revenues, and build strong relationships with customers. This role is crucial in generating new leads and contributing to the competitive monitoring and market analysis of our sector.
Territory: ME, VT, NH, MA, NY, RI, CT, PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV, VA - Must reside in one of these states!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales department to define target sectors and types of companies for commercial development.
  • Account Management: Build, validate, and manage Customer and Prospect account plans, considering strategic development challenges. Identify potential, set objectives, and monitor action plans per account.
  • Customer Relations: Develop and manage customer relationships, maintaining the sales information system (CRM).
  • Prospecting: Create a prospecting database using various sources such as databases, directories, professional networks, trade show contacts, and website visitors.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on tools and commercial content to control the offer, its positioning, and its evolutions.
  • Promotion: Promote all Haulotte solutions, including new and used machines, spare parts, maintenance or reconditioning services, financing solutions, and training.
  • Needs Analysis: Identify customer needs to provide tailored and differentiating solutions.
  • Transaction Management: Initiate account openings, prepare commercial proposals, follow up on outstanding amounts, support collections, oversee deliveries, and handle complaints.
  • Marketing Actions: Participate in, deploy, or relay operational marketing actions such as events, trade shows, and promotional operations.
  • Travel: Requires 75% travel within the assigned territory.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field - 5 years' experience may be accepted in leu of a degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in OEM heavy equipment industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to hit sales quotas.
