Encinitas Union School District
Noon Supervisor
DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the principal assumes responsibility for the safety and welfare of students under his/her charge while students are in the lunch area, classrooms on rainy days, playground and while students are on their way to and from designated eating and play areas.
DUTIES:
supervise students
clean tops and seating areas of lunch tables and counters
keep debris off floor and under lunch tables
wipe up spills in lunch area
check in and check out playground equipment
maintain discipline and control of students while in lines, in the food eating areas, hallways and
playground
report any unsafe conditions to principal
maintain visible contact with students on playgrounds to insure safety and to maintain
order
other duties as assigned at the specific site
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Ability to
communicate in the native language of the majority of students under their charge
supervise students in order to maintain appropriate safety and order
follow oral and written instructions and directions
Knowledge of
basic first aid procedures

The Encinitas Union School District is seeking applicants for a Noon Supervisor position at Ocean Knoll Elementary School, Kinder-6th grade.
Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:15am - 1:15pm & Friday, 9:15am - 12:15pm (15 hours per week).
Great opportunity for parents/guardians and retirees looking for a flexible schedule.
EUSD is located in North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine(9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools, and one (1) pre-school for students with special needs.
