As a mid-size firm, you have the opportunity to grow and learn from the best in the business. Our Tax Department continues to grow in headcount and in volume of work, and we need a well-rounded senior to help us continue serve our exceptional clients.


WHO ARE YOU?  You’re a CPA/EA or in the process of acquiring, and the last 3 - 5 years of your career have been spent working on several types of Forms 990.  If you’re a top candidate, you’ll have 1- 2 years of review and advisory experience for Non-Profit/Exempt Organizations, including UBIT-related compliance. You feel comfortable researching and proactively advising clients on opportunities and best practices. 


At the Senior level, an individual is expected to be knowledgeable of the Firm's policies and procedures; understand the rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA; possess an understanding of pertinent IRC sections and regulations; and possess an ability to employ successful research techniques through the use of various research sources available. Most assignments will involve the preparation of tax returns with additional responsibilities in supervising, reviewing returns prepared by associate staff members, working independently, and communicating with clients.

The base compensation for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually, DOE.  Residents of California or New York will not be considered at this time.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related discipline (four-year college or university)


Experience: Minimum of 3 years related experience.  Significant experience preparing/reviewing Forms 990 is required for this role.


Computer Skills:  Proficient with computer and MS Office Suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel). Desired: QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, Adobe, Depreciation Solutions, Caseware, QuickBooks.


Certificates & Licenses: CPA and/or EA licenses preferred
