Slitter Operator

Souderton, PA

3rd Shift: 11:00PM - 7:00AM

Hourly Rate based on experience


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate slitting equipment
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on slit material
  • Identify, splice out, and remove non-conforming material
  • Complete production, quality, and shipping paperwork accurately
  • Prepare slit rolls for shipment in accordance with customer and quality requirements
  • Access and use email, intranet, and quality databases as part of daily work
  • follow all safety, quality, and plant policies and report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training activities
  • Work overtime as needed to meet business demands




Requirements
  • Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, training provided
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow standard work procedures and make sound decisions
  • Basic computer skills including email and data entry
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and support process improvements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
