Job description

Work Schedule Comments: Monday through Friday, 7 am – 5 pm

Position Overview: Operates equipment on container yard, including but not limited to container handlers and yard hostlers.


Must have Driver License and Pass MVR check


Important Job Functions:

  • Operate container handlers to mount/dismount intermodal equipment.
  • Operate bladed lift to stack/unstack intermodal chassis.
  • Operate yard hostler truck to reposition equipment on the yard for safe and efficient navigation of the facility.
  • Inventory location and verification.


Other Job Functions:

  • Kneeling
  • Stooping
  • Bending
  • Ascending/Descending stairs
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to operate equipment on the yard:
    • Yard Hostler
    • Empty Container Handler
    • Loaded Container Handler
    • Bladed lift
