Job description

Summary of the Position:
Load outbound trucks and unload incoming trucks. Load and unload Vacuum Cooler on designated days. Load and unload Containers when necessary. Organize empty pallets and empty container when necessary. Grade the mushroom for size and quality when necessary.
Role and Responsabilities
• You should check each pallet, whether they are loaded or unloaded, making sure that the items are counted correctly.
• Wrap pallets when not loaded. You will need to wrap pallets with several different items in the right way.
• Must count and double check all incoming and outgoing pallets. You should write in English on the loading sheets while loading trucks.
• You should check the pallet labels and load sheets with customer packages to ensure no discrepancies are sent to the customer.
• You must know the load settings and the total number of pallets before starting to load.
• Make sure the load is ready for the road. You need to be flexible with work hours and be able to stay over-time when necessary.
• Must be willing to learn how to use computers to weight pallets and load trucks.
Preferred Skills
• Experience operating the Electric Jack, loading and unloading trucks, wrapping pallets for at least 6 months.
• Computer skills and mushroom knowledge is a plus
