Job description

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking an experienced Foreman (Non-union) to perform direct supervision of our concrete team in Boise, ID. We are looking for a Foreman with experience in the following:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordination of layout and execution of individual work on the project site.
  • Ensures all craft work conforms to contract requirements.
  • Translates general work requirements and prioritizes crews, materials, and equipment.
  • Organizes and maintains work crews to maximize production and efficiencies.
  • Identifies, verifies, and reports any scheduling conflicts with contractors.
  • Prepares daily time sheets for all supervised personnel.
  • Understand and accept the importance and legal liability of the role.
  • Knows and understands the requirements of and liabilities under OSHA.


NOTE:These duties listed are meant to describe the general scope of the work. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in commercial concrete construction.
  • Valid motor vehicle license and eligible to operate a company vehicle. Willingness to travel extensively to assigned work sites.

OTHER:

  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas. Construction site work environment - will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.
