What jobs will be gone in the next 5 years?

In the construction industry, roles such as manual labor positions like general laborers and certain skilled trades may decline due to automation and technological advancements. However, jobs requiring specialized skills, such as project management and safety supervision, are expected to remain in demand. Adaptation to new tools and certifications will be important for workers in this field.

What is the easiest construction job to get into?

Entry-level construction jobs such as laborer or helper roles are generally the easiest to obtain, often requiring minimal experience and offering on-the-job training. These positions typically involve basic tasks like site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled workers, making them accessible for newcomers to the construction industry.

How much does a non-union construction worker make?

Non-union construction workers typically earn an average hourly wage ranging from $15 to $30, depending on experience, location, and specific skills. Entry-level workers may start at lower rates, while experienced workers with specialized skills or certifications can earn higher wages, often working full-time schedules on construction sites.

How to get a non-union construction job?

To get a non-union construction job, you should gain relevant skills through training or apprenticeships, build a strong work ethic, and apply directly to construction companies or contractors. Having a valid driver's license and being prepared for physical work can improve your chances. Networking and demonstrating reliability are also important for securing employment in non-union construction roles.
