Your next great opportunity starts here, and the timing couldn't be better! Servicon is in an exciting growth phase, modernizing systems, sharpening processes, and partnering with a new PEO to elevate the employee experience. If you're looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact, help shape what's next, collaborate with sharp, motivated teammates, and accelerate your career growth, this could be the perfect fit. Join an organization that values achievement, rewards initiative, and empowers employees to thrive. This is a chance to leave your mark on a team that's just getting started.
At Servicon Systems Inc., this is a role where your work will be felt immediately. We are committed to operational excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional service through our team, and we are seeking a Payroll Manager to lead multi-state, union, and prevailing wage payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every step. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership as you'll oversee payroll accounting, payroll tax compliance, general ledger reconciliations, and union contract compliance, while leading, coaching, and helping build the payroll team and processes that will carry Servicon into its next chapter.
Designed for today's flexibility-seeking professionals. Our hybrid work model empowers you to achieve exceptional results, build strong relationships, and enjoy the flexibility needed to thrive both professionally and personally, because we know great work happens when people are trusted to do their best.

  • Robust retirement planning: 401(k) plan with employer matching to help you build long-term financial security
  • Well-being and work-life balance: Generous paid time off, a flexible schedule, and remote work options designed around your life

Be part of a culture that's evolving fast: one that encourages innovation, open communication, and continuous growth. As we scale, we're rethinking how we work, and we believe the best results come from diverse perspectives and strong partnerships across every level of the organization. This is your chance to help build that culture, not just join it.
To excel as the Payroll Manager, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent payroll management experience.
  • 8+ years of multi-state payroll administration and payroll tax expertise, including compliance with federal, state, local, union, and prevailing wage requirements.
  • CPP certification required or willing to obtain within 1 year of employment
  • Proven experience leading payroll teams and driving accuracy, efficiency, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, accounting platforms, and timekeeping solutions such as Workday, UKG, ADP, and related technologies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage deadlines, cross-functional projects, and confidential information.
  • Prior experience partnering with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) is a strong plus, especially as we deepen our own new PEO partnership.

Your responsibilities as the Payroll Manager, will include:
  • Own multi-state bi-weekly payroll operations for union, non-union, and prevailing wage employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing every cycle.
  • Play a key role in our new PEO partnership, working closely with the PEO and internal stakeholders to optimize payroll and HR services, processes, systems, and vendor relationships as we build a stronger foundation for growth.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit payroll policies, procedures, and end-to-end processes, with real opportunity to redesign and modernize how we work as the organization grows.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a talented payroll team, providing the guidance, training, and support that drive operational excellence.
  • Own payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, commissions, bonuses, and compliance documentation, maintaining the confidentiality and data integrity our team relies on.

Build your career in a place where your contributions are valued, your growth is supported, and your work makes a difference, and where you'll help shape a company on the rise. If you're looking for flexibility, purpose, and the opportunity to leave your mark, now is the time to take the next step. Your future team is excited to meet you!
