  • Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process (patient centered, goal oriented care that includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation or intervention, and evaluation) and the professional standards of nursing into daily practice.
  • Provision of care is consistent with evidence based practices and principles of infection control
  • Assesses and interprets patient status/information based on knowledge of growth, development and age; recognizes changes based on patient assessment
  • Prioritizes, initiates, and delegates appropriate interventions based on assessed patient need; evaluates the outcome of responsibilities delegated to others
