We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Technical Project Manager + Product Owner Ecommerce to lead end-to-end ecommerce initiatives. This hybrid role combines product strategy ownership and technical delivery management, ensuring ecommerce platforms are scalable, high-performing, and aligned with business goals such as revenue growth and customer experience optimization. The ideal candidate should have deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, integrations, omnichannel retail processes, and Agile product development.
Location- Houston, TX (Hybrid )
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership (Strategic Focus)
  • Define ecommerce product vision and roadmap.
  • Prioritize product backlog based on business impact and ROI.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Own customer journey improvements (product discovery checkout post-purchase).
  • Define KPIs such as:
    • Conversion rate
    • Cart abandonment rate
    • AOV (Average Order Value)
    • Customer retention
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement discovery sessions.

Technical Project Management (Execution Focus)
  • Lead full ecommerce lifecycle (Discovery Development UAT Go-Live Hypercare).
  • Plan sprint cycles, releases, and deployment schedules.
  • Manage scope, timelines, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps).
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security compliance.

Ecommerce Platform & Integration Expertise
Strong understanding of:
  • Shopify / Shopify Plus
  • Magento / Adobe Commerce
  • WooCommerce
  • Custom PHP / .NET ecommerce platforms
Experience with integrations such as:
  • Payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal)
  • ERP (SAP, D365, etc.)
  • CRM systems
  • Logistics & shipping APIs
  • Third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart)

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Business.
  • 7+ years of IT experience with 35 years in ecommerce project management.
  • Proven experience in Product Ownership (backlog management & roadmap planning).
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment (JIRA/DevOps).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
