Job Description:

The Project Officer supports the execution of strategic IT projects, ensuring they meet business objectives, regulatory standards, and operational efficiency goals. This role manages project lifecycles, coordinates cross-functional teams, and provides clear visibility to stakeholders while driving continuous improvement in IT project delivery.
Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, and closure, for initiatives like ETRM system development and upgrades, integrations, migrations, and implementations
  • Track and control project performance, including budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and scope, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and provide comprehensive status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for IT leads and stakeholders
  • Ensure all project documentation, from initiation to closure, is clear, standardized, and maintained in a central repository for audit, knowledge management, and compliance purposes, including lessons learned from closeout reviews to support the continuous improvement of the IT PMO function

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional, ITIL Foundation or Agile Certified Practitioner, or similar
  • Additional qualifications in the energy sector IT are highly desirable


Experience
