Job description

About The Role
Hello Patient is growing and looking for a Technical Project Manager to own the execution of complex customer deployments. This role sits at the intersection of customers, AI Agent Product Management, Engineering, and Account Management - ensuring projects move quickly, stakeholders stay aligned, and customers successfully launch and scale with Hello Patient.
You'll manage multiple technical deployments at once, serving as the primary project owner responsible for timelines, communication, risk management, and cross-functional execution. You'll partner directly with customer executives, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, manage dependencies, and drive successful launches.
This role requires someone who is highly technical, exceptionally organized, and comfortable operating in complex environments. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should understand how systems connect and be able to translate technical complexity into clear execution plans.
You'll help bring some of our largest and most strategic customers live - working through challenging technical deployments, removing blockers, and building the processes needed to scale Hello Patient.
What You'll Do
Coordinate Complex Customer Deployments End-to-End
  • Own the coordination of complex customer deployments from kickoff through launch and expansion
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking
  • Drive project cadence through weekly updates, status reporting, and clear ownership across internal teams
  • Identify blockers, drive resolution, and ensure teams stay aligned toward launch goals
  • Manage multiple deployments simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for execution and customer experience
Drive Technical Execution Across Teams
  • Partner closely with AI Agent Product Managers, Engineering, Conversational Design, QA, and Account Management to coordinate delivery
  • Assist with customer requirements gathering and content collection needed to support deployment
  • Translate customer requirements into clear technical workstreams and execution plans
  • Set up and configure telephony systems as part of customer deployments
  • Set up agent campaigns and self-service workflows based on customer requirements
  • Participate in agent testing, validation, and soft-launch deliveries to ensure deployment readiness
  • Understand APIs, webhooks, integrations, data flows, and telephony workflows to help teams navigate technical complexity
  • Create and maintain project documentation, tickets, and workflows in tools like Linear to ensure teams have clarity on priorities and next steps
  • Support technical discovery by helping teams evaluate feasibility, scope, tradeoffs, and dependencies
Partner With Enterprise Customers
  • Serve as a trusted partner to customer stakeholders, including operators, technical teams, and executive leaders
  • Lead deployment meetings, communicate progress, and manage expectations throughout the customer journey
  • Help customers navigate complex technical decisions and tradeoffs
  • Partner with internal teams to determine when requests require additional scope, resources, or alternative solutions
  • Build confidence with customers by bringing structure and clarity to complex deployments
Build Scalable Deployment Processes
  • Create repeatable frameworks, templates, and best practices to improve how Hello Patient delivers customer deployments
  • Identify opportunities to improve deployment speed, quality, and customer outcomes
  • Build documentation and operating processes that enable the team to scale as customer volume grows
What We're Looking For
Must Have
  • 4+ years of experience in technical project management, technical program management, solutions delivery, or enterprise implementations
  • Experience managing complex B2B SaaS deployments involving multiple technical stakeholders and dependencies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive timelines, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills with experience partnering directly with customers and executive stakeholders
  • Technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, integrations, and software systems
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver customer-facing solutions
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas
Preferred
  • Experience with healthcare technology, AI products, SaaS platforms, or integration-heavy software
  • Experience with telephony systems, voice platforms, EHR integrations, workflow automation, or enterprise software deployments
  • PMP certification or formal project management training
  • Experience using Linear, Jira, or similar project management tools
  • Experience managing enterprise customers with complex technical requirements
  • AI-native mindset - you leverage AI tools to improve productivity and execution
Compensation
Base salary: $100K-$170K
Equity: Meaningful ownership in a fast-growing healthtech startup
