Job description

About the Job
 

This appointment will be to continue work on the RER genomic assay. Evaluate the predictive models developed to classify horses into multiple risk categories (e.g., very low, low, moderate, high, and very high) and also examine a new machine learning method that could improve performance in the TBs. Work to finalize the Standardbred model in a similar manner. Once models have been finalized, write the corresponding manuscripts. 

Qualifications

PhD in computational genomics
Experience with:
Computational and bioinformatics
Machine learning and statistical modeling
Programming and data infrastructure 
Experimental and Field Methods

Pay and Benefits
 

Pay Range: $34.70/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
