Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary - Student employees holding this job title typically have technical skills or knowledge of the job through previous training and experience. Student employees holding this job title need little day-to-day supervision and may exercise some independent judgment in defined areas of assignment. The job duties performed may also be an essential, perhaps critical, component of the overall operation of the department.

Required Education - HS diploma or equivalent. Current WC student with a minimum of six (6) credit hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operates as Alkek Fine Arts technical support (lighting, scenic elements and audio) for individuals and organizations presenting in the Alkek Fine Arts Center. Assists with set up, run and strike of technical equipment for Fine Arts events including lighting, to include programmed light board and sound for recorded and live performances. May also assist with the care and maintenance of equipment and production creation as appropriate.
