Employers often look for candidates with strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques.

What can entry-level software testers expect in terms of training and onboarding when starting with no prior experience?

Entry-level software testers with no prior experience typically go through structured onboarding programs that introduce them to testing methodologies, company-specific tools, and workflows. Many organizations provide mentorship opportunities, pairing new testers with experienced team members to guide them through their first projects. You'll likely participate in hands-on training sessions, shadowing, and gradually take on more complex testing assignments as you build confidence.
