Unarmed Security Officer Description of Duties:
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Site Description: Multiple Site Locations
Maintain security and safety and security for assigned areas.
Interfaces with employees and visitors to enforce rules and protect assets.
Maintain working knowledge of the site security protocols including CCTV, access control technology and the fire panel alarm system.
Checks for suspicious occurrences and enforce site rules and policies.
Maintain Daily activity logs (DAL) and records of occurrences, completes necessary incident reports, and may use computer terminal to input and retrieve data.
All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and skill requirements:
Reliable transportation.
Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D, be able to read and write in order to review and complete required incident reports.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid vehicle operator's permit or license.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Must be flexible to work any shift that includes some nights and weekends.
Interpersonal skills are a must.
Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Able to walk up and down stairs and on rough terrain.
