These positions cover a wide range of posts and duties to include; property protection, theft deterrence, observing/ reporting in apartment complexes, retail stores, mailing facilities, and many more.

Shift Info:

We have 4 stores in the Georgetown area, who all require a professional unarmed security presence. Three of these stores need security 7 days a week during their retail hours, and one location requires coverage for Friday-Sunday.

  • Location: Georgetown, Washington D.C. 20007.
  • Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour.
  • Shifts: Retail hours, Mornings to Evenings.
  • Days: Stores are open 7 days a week.
  • Part-time and Full-time positions available.

Duties:

  • Observe and report to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Make and keep detailed notes of events throughout the shift.
  • Contact Emergency Services in an emergency situation.
  • Address client staff's security needs.
  • Work alongside a dispatch center and execute dispatch orders.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • No prior experience is required; we will provide all necessary training.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for armed positions).

Core Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with the public.
  • Must be an active listener with excellent problem-solving skills. Able to quickly and accurately assess and evaluate situations.
  • Must have excellent conflict resolution skills with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
  • We're looking for someone who is reliable and able to adapt to different assignments.
  • You should be comfortable operating radio or telephone equipment and console monitors.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to write clearly and accurately are also essential.

  • All applicants must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all applicable laws.
  • A valid driver's license may be required if operating a company or customer-owned vehicle.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
