  • Collaborate closely with program director, staff, families, and other therapists to integrate music therapy into the lives of our members.
  • Facilitate individual music therapy sessions for 11–15 clients per week.
  • Maintain documentation of sessions and progress according to organizational and clinical standards.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and fun environment that supports the holistic well-being of each member.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program.
  • Completion of at least 1,200 clinical training hours, including a supervised internship.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain one).
  • Strong understanding of child/adolescent development, with the ability to adapt techniques for adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience working in school, clinical, or special education settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, creative, and flexible approach to working with individuals of varying abilities.

Why Join Us?

  • Mission-driven work that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
  • Supportive and fun team environment where your ideas are valued.
  • Flexible scheduling – we understand the importance of work-life balance.
