Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

Location: Denver, CO Contract Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Days (7:00am–5:30pm; Monday–Thursday) Call Requirement: 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend per month Pay: $2,460/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Denver, CO. The IR RN will assist with image-guided invasive procedures across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology suites. The Director is specifically seeking candidates with Medical Imaging experience who thrive in a fast-paced, procedural environment and demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for patients undergoing image-guided and invasive IR procedures
  • Assist with procedures in IR, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI (including MRI with anesthesia and pacemaker observation)
  • Administer and monitor moderate sedation per facility policy
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and patient monitoring
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists, anesthesia providers, and imaging technologists
  • Document patient care accurately in Meditech
Qualifications:

Must Have (Required):

  • Active RN license (CO or compact state)
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Recent Interventional Radiology and/or Medical Imaging nursing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year related experience preferred
  • Must disclose all RTO at time of submission (no post-confirmation additions allowed)
  • Agency contract must mirror facility confirmation page exactly
