Job description

About the Role

Riviera Dining Group is hiring a full-time, on-site IT Systems Administrator to lead network administration, Microsoft 365 administration, and end-user technical support across our restaurant and hospitality venues. This is an active, mobile, hands-on position — expect to be on your feet, on ladders, in server closets, and on the restaurant floor during service. If you're looking for a remote or desk-bound systems administrator role, this isn't it.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure & Cisco Meraki Administration

  • Manage and maintain Cisco Meraki networking hardware — switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points — across multiple physical locations
  • Monitor network performance, deploy upgrades, and troubleshoot connectivity issues on-site
  • Physically install, rack, cable, and replace network hardware in venue IDF/server closets

Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Administration

  • Administer Office 365 / Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
  • Build and maintain SharePoint Online sites for internal documentation and collaboration

Help Desk & End-User Support

  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal IT support tickets through a modern ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and Toast POS issues for team members — including in-person support during active service hours
  • Execute IT onboarding and offboarding: account provisioning, hardware setup, imaging, and access control

Salesforce & Application Management

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and integrations within Slack
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure Salesforce supports business processes effectively

IT Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain IT security best practices: data backup, antivirus, patch management, and access control
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal policies

Vendor & IT Asset Management

  • Manage third-party vendor relationships for software licensing, hardware procurement, and IT services
  • Track and maintain hardware and software IT asset inventories
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred
  • 5+ years of IT support and systems administration experience, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki networking equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 admin center and SharePoint Online
  • Working knowledge of Slack administration
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Freshservice, Jira, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and respond under time pressure
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is not a sedentary position. The IT Systems Administrator role requires:

  • Regular travel between venue locations throughout the workday
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods
  • Climbing ladders and working in confined spaces (server closets, above-ceiling cable runs, under-counter POS installations)
  • Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require, including support during active restaurant service
  • Working in a fast-paced restaurant environment with varying noise levels and temperatures
  • This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and thoroughly.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Salesforce Administrator are a plus.

Physical Demands And Work Environment:

  • General office assignments (typing), which lends itself to repetitive motion.
  • Sitting in a stationary position for several hours within the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
