Job description

Blue Rose Legacy Home Care provides companion care and assistance with activities of daily living.

No prior experience or certifications necessary - we provide in person and online training.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, and dressing

  • Provide fall prevention by assisting with transfers and helping clients move around safely

  • Give medication reminders

  • Perform light housekeeping, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry

  • Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions

  • Escort clients to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities

  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients

  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate parties

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling client information


Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.

  • You must have a reliable means of transportation.

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, be eligible for an Arizona Level 1 fingerprint clearance card, and have a clean driving record.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
