Sliger amp; Associates Inc. (www.sligerassociates.com) is a Port Orange, FL based land surveying and engineering services firm that has been family-owned and operated for more than 50 years. We are looking for drug free, experienced, hard-working individuals to join our team in the following full-time position: CAD Technician

WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING LOCAL CANDIDATES / YOU IDEALLY HAVE SURVEY SPECIFIC CAD EXPERIENCE

CAD Technician: This individual must be able to quickly adapt in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment . You ideally have prior CAD Tech experience at a land surveying firm, specifically working directly with construction services projects, land development sites amp; home builder service jobs. This role is expected to meet tight deadlines, efficiently manage time and adhere to job budgets set by project managers. With the correct background, the candidate ideally fills into a CAD Tech role immediately, making a significant impact for a project manager on new and/or existing projects. Candidates with CST Level I, II or III certificates highly preferred.

A candidate will only be considered with the following attributes:

  • mastery Carlson surveying software
  • mastery of Windows OS and all MS office products
  • ability to accurately estimate drawing time and calculate job profitability.
  • superior accuracy in a high-volume environment
  • problem solver; ability to research discrepancies
  • impeccable organization skills
  • ability to adapt and perform with little or no daily direction
  • you must be presentable and work with our office management and clients in a very professional manner.
