Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
CTI is seeking a network administrator/computer programmer to the redesign effort of multiple Navy training courses. Experience with US Navy training standards and Instructional Systems Design processes preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Required Training and Experience:
  • Prior experience with Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements
  • Frontend and database security, design, development and support.
  • Validation of courseware SCORM compliance
  • HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and XML
  • SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Handle multiple tasks; flexible with work assignments
  • Work well with a multitude of personalities
  • Work with little to no supervision.

Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience with CoDE/DOMS
  • Experience with USN training product standards and Instructional Systems Design process
  • Prior experience on a contractor courseware development team for DOD products
  • Courseware development experience with Adobe Captivate or similar tool
  • Courseware development experience with AIM II or CPM/LOM

Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate with ISDs and SMEs to redesign computer based Navy training courses
  • Convert Flash-based courseware to HTML5
  • Design/develop conversion software
  • Troubleshoot courseware functionality issues
  • Maintain and manage databases
  • Manage account and security access
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
  • Travel to Navy schoolhouses as required.
