Job description

We are looking for someone with closed loan document knowledge for full-time, in office position for original document handling as well as a coverage person for other areas.

While the person does not need experience in all areas listed, the candidate MUST have knowledge of closed loan documents and a base knowledge of the Mortgage Industry. We will train the specifics, the technology and the UNMB way.

Daily tasks:

Receive, review, prepare and ship collateral documents to document custodians, including coops, CEMAs, SONYMA, NJHMFA, Fannie and Freddie

Receive, review and ship trailing documents to Investors/Servicers using specific transmittals and processes per third party requirements.

Contact third parties for missing documents and/or corrections to documents.

These are time of the essence roles and responsibilities. Time management and being aware of timelines is very important.

Coverage Tasks:

Reception as needed –

Answering phones, mail, overnights, being the face of the company for the duration of coverage

Post-Closing as needed-

Shipping loans to third parties via Investor Connect and Investor Document Portals.

Preparing good-bye letters and delivering to internal parties for processing.
