Job description

GPIseeks motivated and experienced Office Engineers to work on bridge & highway construction projects with the NJDOT or other local agencies in the New Jersey region. Ideally, we seek someone with a good work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work collectively with our team and clients, and the ability to work on concurrent projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining all project documentation
  • Reviewing and processing contractor's payment requisitions
  • Preparing and processing change orders and submittals
  • Project closeout and Inter-agency coordination
  • Complete daily work reports and payments for completed work
  • Acts as a liaison between project management, subcontractors, and site engineers to resolve problems

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working as an Office Engineer on NJDOT highway and/or bridge projects
  • NICET III certification is required
  • Occasional extended work hours such as Night Shift /Weekend work availability
  • Knowledge of MURK recordkeeping, including SiteManager and EBO
