Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and relationship driven Head of Revenue to lead and scale MADE Hoops' new sponsorship and brand partnerships business vertical. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing the company's overall revenue strategy with a primary focus on securing high-value sponsorships, strategic partnerships, and integrated marketing programs across MADE's events, content, media, and digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of proven success in sports sponsorship sales and brand partnerships, with a deep network of meaningful relationships across brands, agencies, media companies, and the broader sports industry that can directly translate into revenue opportunities for MADE Hoops. This role is designed for a seasoned leader who can both drive new business and build long-term strategic partnerships while elevating MADE's position as the leading youth basketball platform in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and lead MADE Hoops' overall sponsorship and partnership revenue strategy across events, media, content, social, experiential, and emerging platforms.
  • Establish annual and long-term revenue goals, pipeline development strategies, and partnership growth initiatives.
  • Identify new monetization opportunities across MADE's ecosystem, including live events, branded content, NIL-related opportunities, digital programming, licensing, and custom experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape the company's commercial growth strategy and positioning within the sports marketplace.

Sponsorship Sales & Business Development
  • Lead high-level prospecting, relationship development, negotiation, and closing efforts for major sponsorship and brand partnership opportunities.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to generate immediate sponsorship revenue opportunities across endemic and non-endemic categories.
  • Own the full partnership sales cycle from prospecting and pitch development through negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and renewal.
  • Build customized partnership solutions aligned with brand objectives while utilizing MADE's storytelling, athlete access, and audience engagement strengths.
  • Package and sell integrated partnerships inclusive of event rights, digital/social media, branded content, experiential activations, hospitality, and custom campaigns.
  • Collaborate with leadership on seven-figure partnership opportunities and long-term strategic deals.

Relationship Management & Client Services
  • Serve as senior relationship lead for key brand partners and agency stakeholders.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships that drive partner retention, renewals, upsells, and multi-year agreements.
  • Ensure best-in-class execution and white glove service throughout all phases of partnership delivery.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand MADE's visibility and business relationships.

Strategic Planning & Brand Activation
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, events, content, operations, merchandise, and social teams to execute high-impact sponsorship programs.
  • Oversee development and execution of integrated brand activations across MADE events and media platforms.
  • Ensure sponsor deliverables, campaign objectives, and activation timelines are executed at a world-class level.

Revenue Operations & Performance Management
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and revenue reporting processes.
  • Analyze partnership performance, category trends, and market opportunities to optimize revenue growth.
  • Develop post-campaign reporting and insights packages for partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize data, audience insights, and performance metrics to support renewals and future sales opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in sports sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, media sales, or related revenue leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing six and seven-figure sponsorship agreements.
  • Strong existing network of relationships across brands, agencies, sports properties, and media organizations.
  • Experience selling sports media inventory to agencies and brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through strategic partnerships and consultative sales approaches.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and integrated partnership programs from concept through execution.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market trends and develop innovative revenue opportunities.
  • Passion for basketball, youth sports, athlete development, and experiential marketing.
  • Willingness to travel for events, client meetings, and industry conferences as required.
