About Us

At SierraVista, our mission is to inspire hope and deliver holistic care to individuals facing acute psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. We create a safe, supportive environment where patients build the skills needed for lasting recovery and independence.

Why Night Shift at SierraVista?
If you thrive in a focused, quieter setting where you can build deeper patient connections and exercise strong clinical judgment, our night shift team offers a rewarding and impactful experience. You’ll play a critical role during some of the most vulnerable hours of our patients’ recovery.

What You’ll Do

As a Night Shift Floor RN, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on care while working with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to support patients through their recovery journey. Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care in a psychiatric and behavioral health setting

  • Administering medications and closely monitoring patient responses overnight

  • Responding to crises with confidence, using de-escalation and intervention techniques

  • Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care

  • Accurately documenting patient progress and maintaining compliance with all standards

  • Offering education and reassurance to patients, helping them stay on track toward long-term wellness

What We’re Looking For
  • Current RN license (in good standing).

  • Prior psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience a plus, but not required—training provided.

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Must be 21 years or older.
