Shift: Night Shift - 6:00pm to 6:00am
Summary
The Extrusion Operator (Tape) will perform duties in the extrusion department that focuses on the operation of extruders to produce quality products in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Sprinturf standards. The Lead Operator will work closely with the Shift Supervisor to build a team focusing on Safety, Quality, and Production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for this position are listed below. They include but are not limited to the following.

  2. Working with the Lead Operator to hold standards such as

  4. Run time efficiency.
  5. Reduction of waste.
  6. Reduction of change over time.
  7. New Operator Training.
  8. Operator Accountability.
  9. Perform checks on lines in operation during shift to ensure setting and reading are correct.
  10. Identify the equipment and components of the extrusion line.
  11. Identify e-stops and when to use them.
  12. Ability to perform proper shutdown procedure.
  13. Ability to understand the downstream equipment and the proper operation of the equipment.
  14. Understand the proper operation of the dosing system.
  15. Keep area and line free of any debris and/or waste.
  16. Identify material needed for the line and where it is staged.
  17. Issue and return material to line using NetSuite system.
  18. Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with machine and/or material.
  19. Alarms
  20. Off quality material.
  21. Follows all safety regulations
  22. Complete other tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor and Lead Operator
