Registered Nurse - Intermediate Medical Surgical Unit (Night Shift)
Full-Time / Competitive Pay / Excellent Benefits + Growth Opportunities
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Medical Surgical team on the night shift. This full-time RN role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced inpatient settings and are passionate about surgical and medical care. You'll work alongside a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered outcomes across specialties including surgical oncology, urology, bariatrics, thoracic, and colorectal surgery.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
  • Active New Jersey RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications (may be required based on unit)
  • Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Previous experience in medical-surgical or intermediate care preferred
What You'll Do:
  • Provide direct, compassionate care to a diverse surgical and medical patient population
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, APNs, and surgical residents
  • Participate in daily shift huddles, unit rounds, and continuous quality initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety
  • Foster a strong team environment and actively support new nurse training
  • Work three 12-hour night shifts per week in a 30-bed single-room unit
