Job description

Up-North Plastics, Inc. is currently seeking a Process Technician to join our team in Cottage Grove, MN on our night shift.  Up North Plastics produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and agricultural film.

***STARTING PAY - $21.00 - $22.50***


 A successful candidate must have:

  • Ability to change priorities quickly
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Record Downtime
  • Correctly complete paperwork
  • Monitor scrap rates
  • Build relationships with production
  • Notify management of problems.
  • Help train Machine Operators
  • Work with maintenance to ensure equipment is set correctly
  • Liaison between production and maintenance.
  • Train on Day Shift before moving to Night Shift
