About the Role:

The Manufacturing Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for managing and leading a team of production workers, coordinating workflow, and maintaining adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements. The supervisor will monitor production schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity. They will also serve as a key liaison between management and the production floor, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Ultimately, the Manufacturing Supervisor ensures that production targets are met while fostering a positive and compliant work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced production setting.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with production tracking software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certification in safety management or supervisory training programs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced production scheduling tools.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to meet daily manufacturing goals.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules or resources as needed to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and performance improvement.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to address production challenges.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, documentation, and performance metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce waste.

The Manufacturing Supervisor utilizes leadership and communication skills daily to effectively manage and motivate production teams, ensuring clear understanding of goals and expectations. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are essential for identifying production bottlenecks and implementing timely solutions. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards is applied continuously to maintain compliance and promote a safe workplace. Technical skills, including proficiency with production software and data analysis tools, support accurate tracking of performance metrics and informed decision-making. Additionally, skills in process improvement methodologies enable the supervisor to drive efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.

Night Shift 7pm – 7am Monday – Thursday. Occasionally Friday.
