Job Summary
Levy with University of Oklahoma Athletics is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of Operations for Performance Dining. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the student-athlete experience by overseeing all athletic dining operations, training table, and fueling stations. The Director will partner closely with sports dietitians, athletics administration, and operations staff to deliver high-quality nutrition programs that support athlete health, recovery, and peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all athletic dining operations and functions for student-athletes, including training table and fueling stations.
  • Collaborate with sports dietitians and performance staff to ensure menus and fueling options align with performance nutrition goals.
  • Oversee food quality, safety, compliance, and service standards across all operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop dining services staff to ensure a culture of excellence and service.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to provide cost-effective, high-quality training tables, fueling solutions and dining hall.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between athletics, dining services, and campus partners.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Service, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in collegiate athletics, performance nutrition, or large-scale banquet or catering operations.
  • Strong knowledge of performance nutrition and athlete fueling strategies.
  • Strong understanding of allergen safety protocols and cross-contamination prevention
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Food Handlers License (or willingness to achieve) in the State of Oklahoma
