Athletic Coaching Requirementsย 
A completed San Carlos Unified School District (SCUSD);ย Online Application. www.scbraves.net/Employment
Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card/Verification. Application for IVP card will be accepted, pending approval.
All Head Coaches MUST haveย a minimumย of 2 years of experience as a head high school coach.
Must have a validย CPRย card from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
All head or assistant coaches, whether paid or volunteer, must complete theย NFHS First Aid, Health And Safety For Coachesย course.
All head or assistant coaches, whether paid or volunteer, must complete theย NFHS Fundamentals of Coachingย course.
All head or assistant coaches, whether paid or volunteer, must complete theย NFHS Concussion in Sportsย course.
All head or assistant coaches, whether paid or volunteer, must complete theย NFHS Heat Illness Preventionย course.
All head coaches must have a valid an Arizona Coaching Certificate or must complete the NFHS Level 1 Certification by taking a
NFHS Sport Specific courseย orย Teaching Sports Skills courseย (along with other mandated courses) ย 
NFHS Sport Specific Courses offered include: Basketball, Volleyball, Football,ย Wrestling, Baseball, Softball, Track & Field, Soccer, AACCA Spirit Safetyย 
Spirit line coaches (upon hiring) are also required to have a currentย AACCA Spirit Safety Certificationย and attend aย NFHS Spirit Rules course each year through the A.I.A.*ย
