Description
Join Us in Transforming Healthcare Education
At Joyce University, your work is more than a job-it's a meaningful contribution to something bigger. Every system we build, every data point we refine, and every report we deliver plays a role in helping students succeed in healthcare.
We're looking for a Nexus Administrator & Reporting Analyst who thrives at the intersection of systems, data, and people-someone who sees beyond the numbers and understands their impact on students, faculty, and institutional success.
If you're driven by accuracy, curious about how systems connect, and motivated by purpose, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll serve as both the technical expert and trusted partner behind our Student Information System (Nexus), ensuring our data is reliable, accessible, and actionable.
Nexus Administration
  1. Serve as the primary administrator for Nexus, including user access, configuration, environment management, and release/upgrade coordination.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact with Anthology (Nexus vendor) for support cases, defect triage, sandbox testing, and release/upgrade coordination.
  3. Propose and implement configuration changes in Nexus - for example, grade policies, course structures, status workflows, and communication settings - in partnership with academic and operations leaders.
  4. Maintain documentation of system configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.

Reporting & Data Integration
  1. Develop, maintain, and enhance reports in Nexus and related platforms using SSRS, SQL, and sound report design principles.
  2. Build and support custom reports for operational and compliance needs, such as cohort completion rates, audits, stipend checks, status history, and transcripts.
  3. Validate and QA data flows between Nexus, CORE, Salesforce, Pathify, and the EDW to ensure accurate, trustworthy reporting.
  4. Guide teams on correct use of SIS data fields and tables (e.g., ExpStartDate vs. StartDate, Effective Date, NSLDS reporting fields).

Integrated Platforms & APIs
  1. Own and improve API-based integrations between Nexus and CORE, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and process enhancements.
  2. Test and support new and existing integrations, including Salesforce-to-Nexus enrollment and other downstream connections.
  3. Ensure students have reliable access to Pathify by maintaining the Nexus-to-Pathify provisioning flow and troubleshooting access issues as they arise.
  4. Administer Hyland OnBase for SIS-related document storage, ensuring records are captured, indexed, and accessible.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training
  1. Train academic, operations, and student services teams on Nexus functionality, reporting, and ADA-compliant practices.
  2. Act as a trusted guide for faculty and staff, helping them understand the data, systems, and opportunities available within the SIS.
  3. Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead requirements gathering for new reports, configurations, and integrations.
  4. Document and resolve issues affecting data alignment, revenue recognition, and compliance.

Why You'll Love It Here
We know that when our people feel supported, they do their best work-and that directly impacts our students.
That's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and balance:
  • Generous self-directed PTO policy
  • Paid holidays
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Fully paid short-term disability
  • Long-term disability coverage
  • Dedicated professional development opportunities
  • World-class continuing education assistance

Requirements
What You Bring
You're both analytical and people-focused-someone who values precision but understands that behind every data point is a student journey.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in an academic or higher education environment

You also have:
  • Experience working with Student Information Systems (Nexus or similar preferred)
  • Strong SQL and reporting experience (SSRS or comparable tools)
  • Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data workflows
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

How You Show Up
At Joyce, how you work matters just as much as what you accomplish. In this role, you will:
  • Lead with a service mindset-supporting others with empathy and intention
  • Think analytically and act thoughtfully-using data to guide meaningful decisions
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence-meeting people where they are
  • Take ownership-ensuring accuracy, accountability, and follow-through
  • Collaborate openly-building trust and strong working relationships
  • Stay curious-continuously learning and improving systems and processes

Ready to Make an Impact?
Behind every seamless system and every trusted report is someone who made it possible.
If you're ready to bring your technical expertise, curiosity, and purpose to a team that values both people and precision-we'd love to connect with you.
