Description
Job Brief:
The Seasonal Scale Operator will be in charge of weighing trucks in and out as well as grading grain. In addition, they will perform routine clerical duties to support the organization.
Leadership:
  1. Promote an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the mission and core values of Nexus.
  2. Model behaviors that support Nexus mission and core values to be a trusted advisor to our customers and members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  2. Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the appropriate team member.
  3. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
  4. Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of forms.
  5. Weigh trucks both inbound and outbound.
  6. Grade grain to make sure that the appropriate discounts are being taken.
  7. Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
  8. Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.
  9. Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
  10. Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate departments or individual; processes outgoing mail.
  11. Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
  12. Manages calendars and schedules appointments.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
