What are Next Logistics?

Next Logistics is responsible for the management and coordination of the movement, storage, and distribution of goods for Next's retail operations, including online and in-store sales. This involves supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, and delivering products to customers efficiently. Working in Next Logistics typically includes roles in warehouse operations, transport planning, and supply chain management. The division plays a crucial role in ensuring products reach customers quickly and accurately.

How does collaboration typically work between a Next Logistics team member and other departments within the supply chain?

In a Next Logistics role, collaboration with other departments such as procurement, inventory management, and customer service is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Regular meetings, digital communication tools, and shared performance dashboards are commonly used to facilitate information flow and address challenges quickly. This cross-functional teamwork helps maintain high service standards and allows for continuous process improvement within the logistics chain.
