ABOUT THE COMPANY

Rise Power Systems is a manufacturer-in-launch of UL 845 Motor Control Centers, UL 1558 Metal-Enclosed Switchgear, and Modular E-House solutions. We combine structural and sheet metal fabrication expertise with purpose-built electrical assembly to deliver pre-engineered power infrastructure for industrial, oil & gas, water/wastewater, and utility markets.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Engineering is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the modular E-House product line, from concept and design standards through fabrication, integration, testing, and delivery. This role owns the technical definition, manufacturing strategy, and commercial performance of E-House solutions, including integrated MCCs, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, transformers, and auxiliary systems.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Define E-House platform architecture, including layouts, structural standards, and integration zones

Develop standardized design templates to reduce engineering effort and enable scalable configurations

Own fabrication and assembly standards to ensure consistency and manufacturability

Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), incorporating production feedback for continuous improvement

Ensure products meet all applicable UL and regulatory compliance requirements

Partner with Program Management to align Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain on execution

Support and contribute to execution of scope, cost, and schedule across programs

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and support customer design and system integration discussions for major pursuits

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

10+ years in power systems or modular manufacturing

Experience with E-House or integrated electrical systems


PREFERRED

General Contractor/Building Construction experience

Experience with MCCs, switchgear, and PDUs

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor)

Background in EPC project environments as a buyer or supplier

Familiarity with modular construction or skid-mounted electrical systems
