ABOUT THE COMPANY

Rise Power Systems (Part of SMT Inc.) is seeking a hands-on Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes, drive efficiency, and support new product introduction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Create work instructions, routing, and labor standards
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts
  • Support new product launches (DFM, readiness, prototype builds)
  • Drive continuous improvement (lean, 5S, kaizen)
  • Analyze productivity, cycle time, and cost performance
  • Partner with Quality to resolve production issues
  • Define tooling, equipment, and process requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing/industrial engineering experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience (5S, VSM, kaizen, etc.)
  • Strong process documentation and problem-solving skills
  • ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.)

PREFERRED

  • Electrical/electromechanical manufacturing experience
  • High-mix, low-volume or custom production environment
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
